Is it possible to consider a tailor-made tour? At what price?
A different itinerary from those proposed can be arranged. However, it’s necessary to request this relatively early (about one to two months before the desired date) so that the guide can carry out the work induced by a tailor-made circuit. Indeed, additional research and scouting may be useful for its proper execution. A quote will be provided at the end of this work.
What are the cancellation conditions?
From what age can one participate in the tours?
The tours are designed to appeal to a wide audience, starting from the age of 12.
Are there any clothing precautions to take? If so, which ones?
Each site visited is accessible under good conditions. However, the weather or anything esle may make certain accesses difficult. It’s therefore advisable to wear good shoes and appropriate clothing for the season during which your visit takes place and according to the expected weather.
Are pets allowed on the visited sites?
Since some visited sites don’t allow pets (such as military cemeteries), it’s better not to bring them with you, especially for private tours. During 2-hours visits, pets are allowed.
Are the tours accessible to people with reduced mobility?
The tours are accessible to PRM. However, some sites may still be difficult to access, especially in a wheelchair. It’s necessary to inform the guide at the time of booking so that a solution can be found.
Is it possible to include a museum visit in the itinerary?
No museum visit is planned within the tours. The time allocated for each visit doesn’t allow for this. However, the guide can recommend museums to visit during your stay.
What is the duration of private tours? What time do the tours start?
A half-day private tour lasts four hours. It can start at 9 AM or 2 PM, depending on your availability. On the other hand, a private full day lasts eight hours. An additional hour is included for lunch. The departure time is set à 9 AM, with a return at 6 PM.
Is the meal included in the tour?
During full-day private tours, a one-hour lunch break is included. Clients are free to eat wherever they wish. The guide can offer some recommendations. The meal is at the client’s expense.
Are restrooms available during the tours?
Restrooms are available throughout the tours, whether for full day private tours, half day private tours, or the 2-hours discovery tours.
What is the price of the visit to a producer, offered as an option? How long does the visit last?
It depends on each producer. The visit to the Cave Normande farm, located in Saint-Cyr-du-Bailleul (Tour “From Cobra to Lüttich”), is free and lasts about one hour.
