From Cobra to Lüttich

After the D-Day landings and the liberation of the Cotentin, the Americans set sail south to break the Breton barriers.

Operation Cobra was launched on July 25, 1944, towards Avranches.

During this day, you will discover how the Allies managed to rout the enemy, thanks to Patton’s Third Army.

The counterattack launched by the Germans in early August will be the focus of visits, particularly towards Mortain.
